Hello, we are Arey and Lavinia, founders of Mer-Veille, a Hong Kong marine scientific skin care brand👋🏻

Thank you very much to Radio Television Hong Kong for inviting us to film "Hong Kong Story: Innovation and Technology Dream Factory—Everything Starts from the Heart". It is a rare opportunity to share our entrepreneurial story, skin care research, our philosophy and original intention, and to officially launch Mer-Veille So many moments from the past year or so.

In recent years, more and more people have paid attention to local brands and supported products made in Hong Kong. When it comes to starting a business, production, costs, manpower, and making money, do you really want to focus on manufacturing in Hong Kong and the local market? We hear these opinions and questions all the time, but we always want to be a good Hong Kong brand.

We have a sentimental attachment to "Made in Hong Kong". Since Hong Kong manufacturing is of high quality and gives people confidence, and we are born and raised in Hong Kong, we all like to support Hong Kong brands and small stores. So why not make one? Hong Kong skin care brand? 😤We are really hard-working and want to do well, and even want to do better than others. There is nothing in being human.

In fact, we both used wrong skin care methods in the past. What we thought was good for our skin turned out to be harmful to our skin. Lavinia was also a frequent visitor to dermatology and Chinese medicine. So when launching our own skin care products, we kept thinking about these questions: What does the skin really need? What problem do we want to help you solve? Is there anything better than similar products?

After carefully studying books and research on skin care science, coupled with our own experience and that of our friends, we know that many skin problems (like nine out of ten people with sensitive skin) are caused by excessive skin care. Therefore, we firmly believe that simplifying and moderate skin care is the only way to maintain healthy skin🌟.

We decided to focus on the functions and types of products that our skin needs. The most important thing is to repair the stratum corneum, which is capable of protecting and locking in moisture, and to provide antioxidants. This is the basis of moisturizing, soothing, and anti-aging. We understand the fatigue and anxiety caused by long-term unsightly skin😔, so we really hope to help everyone truly solve their skin problems. We also need to teach everyone the science of skin care and find better and more suitable skin care methods. We can also reduce waste. 👏🏻
